Piñatas DMV is led by Martha Morales, a retired kindergarten teacher from Mexico, who transformed her love for teaching, children, arts and crafts by developing a piñata-making hobby eight years ago. Since then, along with her two daughters, she has been leading piñata-making workshops in partnership with public schools, community centers, and private events across the DMV area.
